Change is hard! Especially when is coming to us fast. It seems like everyday we are bombarded with not only external geopolitical or market volatility, climate disruption, and changes in societal expectations; but also, internal transformation with the acceleration of AI adoption, or shifting labor trends.  Leaders are being asked to operate in conditions where the pace, scale, and interconnectedness of change consistently outstrip traditional planning cycles.

In this episode we explore how we can step out from reaction mode into agency. We are reframing the future as something humans actively co-design, through foresight, participation, and collective intelligence. I am speaking with Joanna Lepore, a Forestigh and Futures Capability expert. Jo is a leading voice in corporate foresight,  having practiced her craft at McDonald’s and Mars Wrigley. Today, she is the Executive Vice President at Canadian strategy company Dig, building future-readiness and global expansion plans.

Is it time to redefine how we measure Human Value? Might we be defining human value through the wrong metrics?   

Organizations depend on metrics to make decisions. Yet many of the things that make humans valuable, like judgment, creativity, resilience, care, or trust, are not measured at all. As AI automation increases, the risk is that organizations “double down” on what’s easily quantifiable, ignoring deeper sources of human contribution.
